Free Steel Drum Teacher Workshop, with Harvey Price
During this 2-day workshop, you'll learn everything you need to know about the steel drum, from its history to teaching techniques, and arranging musical pieces.
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming workshop on how to play and teach the steel drum in Israel center! (most likely Tel Aviv or Netanya)
This workshop will take place on 10th-11th of August, from 10am-15pm.
Date: 10-11th of August, 10am-15pm
Location: The workshop will most likely be held in Tel Aviv or Netanya, at a central venue to be confirmed soon.
Costs: The workshop is completely free.
What to expect: During this comprehensive workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn everything you need to know about the steel drum. We will cover its rich history, teaching techniques, and arranging musical pieces.

During this workshop, you'll learn everything you need to know about the steel drum, from its history to teaching techniques, and arranging musical pieces.
We'll have a full day of playing the steel drum, and by the end of the workshop, you'll already be able to play songs and teach a steel drum band!
Our goal is to build a community of future steel drum teachers. If you have some musical experience and knowledge of music theory, and a passion for teaching children, then this workshop is for you!
Introducing the teacher: Harvey Price
Harvey price is the executive director of Peace drums Project and founded the organisation back in 2012.
He has been a professional Jazz musician for 55 years and a professor of Music at the University of Delaware.
